Emma House is an international publishing consultant specializing in event curation and management, business development, publishing industry research and project management. She has over 25 years experience in the industry having held senior positions at The London Book Fair and The Publishers Association. She is the project manager for the adult literacy initiative ‘Quick Reads’ run by the Reading Agency and is a project specialist in UK public libraries. Emma is a regular speaker and moderator at international publishing events, is a board member of PublisHer and a trustee of the Publishing Training Centre UK.
What do you expect from Thessaloniki Book Fair?
I am keen to learn more about the Greek Book Market and to meet a wide range of Greek publishers that may be useful in my current projects or for future projects. I am especially keen to learn more about children’s and digital publishing in Greece, and to meet inspirational female publishing leaders. I am eager to meet the other fellows and to spend time exploring the Thessaloniki Book Fair.
